The current Wine Wall showcases 67 wines from the 2015 vintage, available by the glass \u2014 a fitting tribute to the Club\u2019s tenth anniversary and its founding year. Hand-picked by Wine Development Manager Constanza Cabello and Richard Hemming MW, the selection highlights both the icons and the unsung heroes of the vintage.

Join us for a focused exploration of American fine wine, from Oregon\u2019s cool-climate Chardonnay to the powerful hillside vineyards of Knights Valley, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We begin in Yamhill-Carlton, Oregon, where Gran Moraine\u2019s Chardonnay offers a benchmark expression of the region, shaped by marine influence, long growing seasons, and a balance of tension and texture that defines the modern Oregon style. The tasting then turns to Sonoma in California, and one of Knights Valley\u2019s most site-driven expressions of Cabernet. Through a range of vineyards and vintages, we examine how elevation, exposure, and time in bottle influence structure, aromatics, and ageing potential. By comparing Anakota\u2019s Helena Dakota and Helena Montana cuv\u00e9es through both recent and mature releases, the session offers a clear view of site expression and Cabernet\u2019s evolution over nearly two decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahjong is more than a game \u2013 it\u2019s a language of strategy, memory and tradition, passed from table to table over generations. Join us for a guided introduction designed for beginners, breaking down the rules, structure and flow of play in a clear, approachable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The class will cover essential gameplay, common terms and table etiquette, giving you the confidence to sit in on future games. A range of Champagnes from Taittinger will also be served throughout the session as we celebrate the new lunar year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the instructor:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virginia Chan is the founder of Humid with the Chance of Fishballs and teaches Hong Kong\u2013style (Cantonese) mahjong. She learned the game as a child by observing family games, first calling out pongs before earning her own seat at the table under the guidance of her grandmother and aunties. Since August 2020, Virginia has taught over 50 mahjong courses and will guide guests through the fundamentals of the game, from pong and chow to sik wu.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maison Fang is the story of a winemaker driven by curiosity, tradition, and the relentless pursuit of balance in the glass. Founded by Chinese-born Ming Fang, who moved to Burgundy in 2007, aged just 20, the Meursault-based enterprise has pursued a micro-negotiant model, purchasing grapes to make a range of wines from some of Burgundy\u2019s finest appellations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this masterclass guided by Ming Fang himself, Members will taste a selection that spans village-level whites and reds as well as single-vineyard treasures. Begin with the delicate charm of Bourgogne Hautes-C\u00f4tes de Beaune and the nuanced Savigny-l\u00e8s-Beaune, then move to the rich, textural whites of Meursault, via two different sites, before exploring the elegance and intensity of Chassagne-Montrachet and Gevrey-Chambertin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hear the stories behind this singular project, as well as the detail of the vineyards and the decisions that shape each cuv\u00e9e, directly from the man behind them. This tasting is an intimate journey through Burgundy, offering insight, nuance, and a direct connection to one of the region\u2019s most fascinating producers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Few individuals have shaped the global perception of a wine region as profoundly as Jane Hunter OBE<\/strong>. For more than four decades, Jane has been at the forefront of Marlborough\u2019s evolution \u2014 helping define the distinctive style of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc while building Hunter\u2019s into one of the country\u2019s most respected estates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was just two years after its founding in 1979 that Jane, an Australian, lost her husband Ernie and found herself alone in a foreign country in charge of 100 hectares of vines. Today, Hunter\u2019s is the only 1970s-founded Marlborough winery to remain family owned, is a benchmark for environmentally conscious, organic winemaking, and Jane is the proud holder of an OBE in recognition of her industry-leading efforts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To mark International Women\u2019s Day, we are pleased to welcome Jane to 67 on Hollywood for an intimate evening exploring the breadth of Hunter\u2019s Wines. From the precision of her m\u00e9thode traditionnelle sparkling MiruMiru to the vibrant aromatics of Marlborough whites and the refined structure of Pinot Noir, the tasting reflects both the diversity of the region and a lifetime of careful stewardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
